The beginning ..

Well this is new to me and I am unsure how I will go.  The questions I ask myself re this blogging :-
  • How much do I want to reveal?
  • What do I want to achieve through the blog?
  • Do I really want others to read about my struggles and triumphs?
I don't have answers yet but possibly will as I commence this journey.  The journey I am going to blog about is my quest to find health and fitness in 2014'- this has been an ongoing battle that I am determined to overcome this year.  Why do I want to achieve this this year?  I am tired of not being happy with how I look and feel.

I want to be able to run, feel confident and buy clothes that look nice!  How?  I am going to get off my butt and start moving!

Several weeks ago I took my eldest daughter and her friends to Wet n Wild during that trip I challenged Jess and her friends to do Peak to Park in March and Gold Coast 10km in July!  I now have some real motivation - I can't let a group of 16 & 17 year olds down!

When I get out and start my "running" I love it and feel great I need to keep hold of that feeling in my mind for the tough days when I am so tired!

I am also going to be doing Cross Fit at least 4x/week.  I also love the buzz cross fit gives me.

In order to achieve this I am turning to God to guide and direct me.  Without Him in my life I am helpless - he is my strength and shield!


How am I feeling about this journey?
  • Excited;
  • Scared of failing;
  • Impatient to get and see results;
  • Determined to succeed;
  • Prepared to be addicted in order achieve;
  • Fully reliant on God to guide me;
  • Prayerful;
  • Committed.

  1. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5,6. If we seek His help, He is faithful... I have started the same journey recently, and will be praying for you.
